Becky Lourel DiamondBecky Libourel Diamond is a food writer, librarian, and research historian, parlaying her passion for history and the culinary arts into three books and numerous articles, essays and podcasts. Her latest book, The Gilded Age Cookbook, blends Gilded Age details and celebrity stories with historic menus and recipes updated for modern kitchens. She is also the author of The Thousand Dollar Dinner and Mrs. Goodfellow: The Story of America’s First Cooking School. Her past research and writing experience includes positions with Dow Jones, Korn/Ferry International, Johnson & Johnson and InfoDesk. She currently works as a Business Librarian at Rutgers University. A Yardley resident since 2008, Becky has served on the Lower Makefield Historical Commission and has been writing for Newtown Lifestyle since 2020.
